16th November '07 - Sandon Dock, Liverpool to Ellesmere Port

17th November '07 - Ellesmere Port to Manchester

18th November '07 - Manchester to Ellesmere Port

19th November '07 - Ellesmere Port to Sandon Dock, Liverpool

 


15th October '07

Leaving Acton Bridge with an aim to be leaving Eastham Locks at around 14.00 hrs then cross the Mersey back to (possibly) Sandon Docks by 17.00 hrs

 


8th October '07

Trip further up river, as far as Northwich Barons Quay then back to Acton Bridge.

 


6th & 7th October '07

Kerne will be berthed at Acton Bridge, where she will be available for public viewing as part of the Leigh Arms Steam Weekend.

 


5th October '07

Kerne is scheduled to leave Ellesmere Port at around 9:30 hrs for the trip up the MSC and the Weaver Navigation, as far as Acton Bridge. She should arrive at Acton Bridge at around 14.00 hrs.

 


4th October '07

Kerne will leave Sandon dock at around 18.00 hrs, bound for Ellesmere Port Boat Museum

 


29th July '07

Kerne is scheduled to leave Sandon dock for a private cruise on the River Mersey. She will return to Sandon Dock.

 


23rd October ‘06

Kerne will leave the outer basin of the Ellesmere Port Boat Museum at roughly mid-day for the trip across the Mersey and back to Sandon Dock in Liverpool.

 


22nd October '06

Kerne will be sailing from the No. 9 Dock, Salford, at approximately 10.30am. She will be sailing back down the Manchester Ship Canal, to Ellesmere Port.

 


9th October ‘06

After a very pleasant trip up the Manchester Ship Canal, Kerne is now berthed in Salford Quays, adjacent to the Lowry Theatre. She is not available for public viewing, though someone from the North Western Steam Ship Co. will be available on board every day.

 


7th & 8th October ‘06

After a successful trip on Wednesday 4th October, the Kerne is now berthed beside the A49 swing bridge, on the Weaver Navigation, at Acton Bridge.

She will remain here over the weekend, where visitors will be welcomed aboard.

The Leigh Arms is also hosting a Road Steam Party just across the road from the berth over the same weekend.

The next trip will take place on Monday 9th October, from Acton Bridge back down the Weaver Navigation to the Manchester Ship Canal, then back up the Canal to Salford/Manchester. Berth as yet to be decided.
 


4th October ‘06

Kerne will sail from the Mersey, along the Manchester Ship Canal, on to the River Weaver and up to Acton Bridge (the A49 bridge) for the annual steam party there.

 


September '06

The Kerne is currently berthed in the Merseyside Maritime Musem.in Liverpool. She has been moved to a new berth on the opposite side but will probably remain here until her first planned trip after the successful completion of two years boiler work.
